Be sure to choose a quote that relates to the theme of your presentation and will resonate with your audience. You could consider looking for quotes from modern personalities to ensure that they are fresh to you and your audience. A famous quote will sound cliché, and your audience will likely stop listening. The key to choosing an effective quote to conclude your presentation is to find one that is a little more obscure. Calls to action should include strong, active verbs. Provide your audience with clear and specific actions to take now that they are armed with the information from your presentation. Give your presentation a memorable title and then use the title to conclude the speech. Use the anecdote to show the core message. Set up a question during the introduction and finish your speech by answering it.Ĭonclude a story you started during your presentation. We're from Australia. Avis kindly deducted 2 days hire from our invoice. It was an all wheel drive with tread on all tyres. My father drove us to Manchester where we collected our car. After my 87 year old father drove us to the Concord address given to us by Avis, we were advised that Avis in Concord went out of business & that we should go to Avis in Manchester. Avis then advised us to collect our replacement car from Avis in Concord. The tow truck driver confirmed that the tyres were indeed bald & illegal. Avis sent a tow truck, from Vermont, to collect the car. We declined because we were concerned that the car wasn't roadworthy & would be illegal to drive it. We contacted Avis who suggested that we drive the car to the closest Avis dealer & they would swap the car over for us. On reflection, when we collected the car, instead of just inspecting the body of the car we should have inspected the wheels of the car as well. The car could not be moved because, on inspection, the tread on the front tyres was below the legal requirement (almost bald) and as the car was a 2 wheel drive, it could not gain traction. My husband went to move the car so that the snowplough could clear the long driveway. We drove it to my father's place in Washington New Hampshire on the Saturday. We usually don't bother but because we expected to see some snow we thought it wise. As a precaution, we took out roadside assistance, which is a first for us. We collected it from Boston Logan International Airport. My husband & I booked a car with Avis for 8 days in January 2020. ![]() To get started, open the photo or video you'd like to enhance. ![]() When I got out of the Army I didn't have any interest in an AR for many years, but gradually found my way to the platform. I later qualified with the M-14 which I liked a lot better. I managed to qualify Expert with that worn out gun, but barely, and didn't care for the thing. I found that my best bet was to sort of twist the grip to the right with my right hand on the pistol grip, basically cock the lower and upper against the two pins, with my face pressed against the butt and the tip of my nose touching the charging handle. I had shot and hunted a lot, but was used to nice wood and blued steel, and guns that didn't rattle and flop around and go boing every time I pulled the heavy trigger. I think it slopped about 1/4" side-to-side, and had about 2 inches of freebore aka totally shot-out barrel. I was issued an M16 which remained mine through that 10 weeks. The pins are full steel and CNC machined. The set features extended knobs for a much easier takedown of the AR-15 platform. We used to hand out accuwedges in SDM school for the students. But wanna see some funny shit, take a Mega upper or an Aero upper and try and fit that to a KAC lower -talk about some fucking slop! Somebody ain't consistently milspec here and I'm not betting against KAC. I did a side-by-side of them a few months back. Basically makes your life considerably easier as far as installation goes. The M4E1 Lower has a threaded bolt catch, forward assist, rear takedown pin, upper/lower adjustment screw and an integrated handguard. Most all of the high end mfg.'s have this problem unfucked. The difference is mostly regarding roll pins.
